This coat is a good example of Ennio Capasa's forward experimentations with mens' tailoring. While its aesthetic is clean and unembellished, a subtle rock 'n roll sensibility is evident upon a closer inspection. The refined balancing act between restraint and swagger is quintessential CoSTUME NATIONAL.

The coat has a concealed double breasted closure that leads up to a slightly exaggerated Western collar. The shoulders are structured and finished with reinforced topstitching. The cuffs are fastened with four spaced buttons, and the back has a single vent. The fabric is vintage moleskin, a substantial 100% cotton textile with a brushed surface and a pronounced patina that develops with wear. The interior has a single pocket and is fully lined in viscose satin.
